Delete your Kalor account
Delete it yourself, from the app
This page is about Kalor — calorie counter (Կալոր), the nutrition tracking app.
If the app is installed, you don't need to ask us for anything — you can delete the account yourself, and it takes a few seconds:
- 1. Open Kalor and sign in to the account you want to delete.
- 2. Open Profile — the last tab in the bottom navigation bar.
- 3. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap “Delete account”.
- 4. Confirm. The account and everything listed below are erased immediately.
If you can't open the app
Write to support@kalor.am from the email address the account is registered to, with “Delete account” as the subject. That address is the only confirmation we have that the account is yours, so a request sent from a different address can't be accepted.
On such a request the account is deleted no later than 30 days later, and in practice within a few days. You get a confirmation by email once it's done.
What gets deleted
Everything tied to your account, permanently. There is no recovery window and no way to undo it:
- The account itself — your email, name and password hash.
- Your nutrition profile — sex, age, height, weight, average daily steps, your activities and your goal.
- Your whole food diary, and every daily calorie and macro target calculated for you.
- Your weight history, saved dishes and food preferences.
- Entries created from photos, together with the AI estimates behind them.
- Notification settings and your device's push token.
- Support conversations, and any promo code you redeemed.
What is kept, and why
Three things outlive the account. None of them stays linked to you:
- Dishes you added to the shared catalogue, by barcode or by hand, stay in the catalogue for other users — with the authorship link removed.
- Photos you explicitly chose to contribute (“Contribute this photo”, off by default) stay in the anonymous recognition dataset. They carry no EXIF or GPS data — that is stripped on the server before a photo is ever stored — and no link to your account.
- Crash reports already sent to Sentry are kept under Sentry's own retention policy, up to 90 days, and then deleted. They contain no diary entries and no photos.
