Kalor support
How to reach us
This page is for Kalor — calorie counter (Կալոր), the nutrition tracking app.
The fastest way is the chat inside the app: Profile → Contact support. It's a real two-way conversation and the reply lands back in the app, so nothing gets lost in a spam folder.
If you can't open the app, write to support@kalor.am. Either way we answer within one or two working days, in Armenian, Russian or English.
Frequent questions
- Where does my calorie target come from? From your height, weight, age and sex, plus your average daily steps and the training you actually do each week. You can change any of it in Profile → Nutrition profile. Until you fill that in, the app shows a rough estimate and labels it as one.
- The photo got the dish or the portion wrong. Under the result there's a “not right? refine it” link — add a hint like “the sauce is on the side” and it analyses again. You can also correct the grams by hand before adding the item to your diary.
- What are bread units? A carbohydrate-counting convention widely used in the region: one unit is roughly 10–12 g of carbohydrate. Kalor shows them next to your macros as a logging convenience — it is not a medical calculation and it never suggests a medication dose.
- The verification code didn't arrive. Check your spam folder first, then use “resend” on the verification screen. If it still doesn't come, write to us and we'll verify the account by hand.
- I forgot my password. Use “Forgot password” on the sign-in screen — a reset code goes to your email.
- How do I delete my account? From Profile → Delete account, or by request. The full details are on the account deletion page.
- Premium and payments. Purchases are not active yet. Premium features are switched on for everyone while the app is in beta, and nothing is charged.
Reporting a problem
Four things make a bug report answerable on the first reply: what you were doing, what you expected, what actually happened, and your device and its OS version. If the app is open, add the version number shown at the bottom of Profile.
If something went wrong with a specific dish or photo, tell us the dish name and roughly when you logged it — that's usually enough for us to find it.
One thing to be clear about
Kalor is an educational tracking tool, not a medical device. It does not calculate medication or insulin doses and does not prescribe treatment. For health questions, see a doctor.
